You probably dont need a super duper fast writing card for the SD400. I have that camera also :hs: I have a normal speed card. The only lag I see is when I record long videos. There is like a 3-4 second wait after i finish recording.

I am going on a week long adventure up the coast of CA and I won't be able to dump the files anywhere and I am sure I will be taking LOTS of photos at highest quality
also you dont need 2gb unless you are doing alot of video shooting
youll go thru 1.5 batteries before you fill up that card
i took my sd450 to seattle and snapped about 350 pics at superfine hi res and that took about 650MB

Well...took the PDI one back today and I picked up a Sandisk ultra II 1 GB for $38 That you flip apart and it has a USB on the other side! They false advertised it saying it was SD when the actualy product was CF so I was like...thats false advertising, and he gave it to me for the price after rebate!!! So I didn't have to mess with a rebate :yay:
At full everything I get 391 pics. Thats superfine 2592x1944
