I agree, I know several people who have Sante Fe's and Tuscons, and everyone who has them really likes them.........no issues at all. And from what I have seen/read, the Azera is supposed to be a very nice, well appointed car (at a reasonable price point).

What a joke the test drive was. The salesman had us drive in a big oblong on the boulevard in front of the dealership, about a mile total. Not much chance to evaluate a car for possible future purchase. On the way back to the dealership I told my wife to slolam between the lane divider strips to see how the car would handle, I think we freaked the sales rep out. Colleen isn't used to automatics, when she stomped on the gas pedal to accelerate between 20 and 60 the car really lagged behind her expectations. Overall for such a short ride it was a comfortable car, but then we didn't get to take it out to the expressway or on a dirt road to see how it worked out there. We've leased 5 cars from the Acura dealership, which is owned by the same company, they used to just throw us the keys and tell us to go knock ourselves out, no co-pilot sales rep riding along.

Car ok, unable to really evaluate it.
Thumbs down on the dealership, will not buy a Hyundai.

They didn't want us to. They figured we weren't going to buy the car so why waste their time. Since we've only leased 5 Acuras from the same group, I'm going over to their corporate offices and suggest that they hire secret shoppers to go to their various dealerships. Like I said earlier that dealer is only part of their group, BMW, Mercedes, Nissan, Acura, Lexus, Saturn, Hyundai. Maybe they don't like the idea that the only reason we came to test drive the car was the $50 gift certificate, but Hyundai corporate offices sent that to us on information from either the NAIAS or consumer surveys that they put out.

On another note on the same group, the Nissan dealer said that we could bring STARR! out for a test drive in the 350Z to see if she would fit and be able to ride with us.

maybe there where to many peeps waiting to test drive it and they didnt want to make them wait too much. Just go to the dealer and ask them to test drive it when it comes out. I am sure they will let you...

The dealership was empty only people inside or on the lot were us and the sales/management staff. No one came while we were out either.
