I am trying a new tequila today...I've been wanting to try it for a while. It's called El Tesoro Reposado. From what I understand when almost all premium tequilas finish the distilling process they are around 120 proof. Distilled water is then added to reduce them to 80 proof. However, when they make El Tesoro tequila they actually stop the tequila at 80 proof which means they don't have to water it down. I am very excited to see how this difference carries over into the taste. I have it in the freezer right now and it should be ready in about an hour. I also heard that El Tesoro tequila is the only tequila that still uses the original method of making it...so much so they most of their distillary doesn't even have electricity...don't quote me on it tho because I haven't seen it for myself.
Here is a pic I found offline...I'm pretty sure it's the same one.
