There's a ladder, near the base of the crane.

 

its up against the crane look at the legs and you will see the ladder.

 

Theres no ladder...and if there was. There is no ladder on the actual crane to get all the way to the top h: Maybe I got a messed up version and they forgot to add the ladder to the game

Here are 4 screenshots of the 4 sides of the platform the crane stands on...nothing

 

thats weird...i had to think about this part for a second been a while since i played it and there was def a ladder to climp up on...when u get up on the pier then go up to the metal base there was a ladder...i distinctly remember it.

u might have got the non winnable version

 

I remember a ramp going from the pier to the top of the concrete block the crane sits on. The ladder is in that area.

And how come you get to play HL2 at work? :squint:
