Yes there are a lot of assholes on HT. They sit around waiting for a chance to be smartasses. It used to be a really good site, with loads of technical info. I always found answers to my questions on there. Then somehow its morphed to what it is today. They are so harsh on noobs, it prevents a lot of noobs from ever coming back. That's not good. I don't care if someone joins a site today. Sure it might take them a while to get the hang of searching before asking a question, but the way I look at it the more members there are, the more knowledge there is. A member that joined today might answer one of my questions next yr. When you dicourage someone from using a forum, you might be discouraging them from continuing with their hobby. I know my car wouldn't be where it is today if I never visited a forum.
Us H/A peeps have already lost a lot of members (knowledge) from people switching to other cars (STI's, EVOs, etc). Other people just grow out of it all together. If we want to keep sites with good info, we need to keep a circulation of new members. Because new members gain knowledge as they eventually become old members.

And it provides more hours of pleasure and dont require frequent breaks in the middle...sometimes you gotta blow in it....or stick 2 cartidges into one hole to get it to work right...but the hole stretches and the game usually works...so that's good
