You should hear the 06-spec V8s that rev to 22k.

Do they really rev that high? I only watch qualifying/races, and they rarely go over 19,400.

For testing purposes they can rev to 22k, but because these engines have to last as long as they can, revs are cut down to reduce engine stress.

I figured. Damn 2-race engine rule... Oh well, the cars are still damn fast even though they lost ~200hp over last year. The new tires Bridgestone and Michelin have are amazing.
