i have used winzip before and im pretty sure its user error in this case but i cant figure it out. i zip some pictures, 35 to be exact, so i can e-mail them to my gf. they seem to zip fine but when i view the properties of the zip folder its the same size as the album that i zipped. so i opened back up in win zip and sure enough, they show 0% compression. i tried several compression methods and even tried the wizard yet still the files aren't compressed. any suggestions?

 

do you have compersion set to max?

 

you mean when it asks what compression you want to use (norman, fast, superfast, etc...) i have tried every method and still they stay the same size.

 

would it matter if its just the trial version?

 

I think it has something to do with jpeg already being a compressed format and it just can't compress any more.

 

yeah, they are jpeg's. looks like ill have to resize them all. FAWQ!

i zipped a few jpegs, and the zips ended up being bigger than the originals :hsugh:
