Co-worker wants to buy a 2001 VW Golf GLS 1.8T
I was bs-ing with a coworker about cars and he said he found a 01 Golf GLS 1.8T with 64,000 miles for $9995. Do all of the Golfs suck as far as reliability/electrical problems, or is it just the ones that were built in Brazil or Mexico? :thinking:

my friend has an 03 VR6 (I think that's right).
anyways ... we went to close his door one day, and his front and rear windows in the driver's side fell into the doors. They just collapsed.
I'm not saying that's going to happen, but they are kinda poopy on the build quality.
