I wouldn't because then the skin will not be moist from the puss inside causing the skin to die and peel off so then you have this big wound on your finger. It will go down on its own

If you don't have to, don't. Clean the surrounding skin and the surface of the blister. Cut a donut out of moleskin and put it around the blister and then cover the blister.

If you absolutely can't stand having a blister there, or it's broken already, or it's infected (cloudly fluid, red surrounding areas) drain the blister, clean it throughly, put bactrin or neosporin on it, and cover it with a gauze dressing.

if you are gonna use a pin be sure to sterilize it, you can get a nasty infection from popping a blister with out disinfecting first.

Sometime there's already a hole in it, so it's drained already.

LOL. You think a pin would be more sterile than your teeth?

the biting through it was just a joke....

I usually take a sewing needle or even a safety pin and clean it with alcohol or put a lighter to it for a few seconds and let it cool down if I am in a bind...then peirce the blister on the side and gently squeeze out the creamy goodness..then I usually remove the excess skin, add a layer of neosporin and put a band-aid on it...usually all healed up in a day or two...

I used to burn myself...alot...at my old work
