How do those in college not have debt? Don't you have any living expenses? I make $15k a year working but I still have a shitload of living expense that prevents me from gathering debt even though I have a bunch of scholarships.

Personally, I make enough from my part-time job to cover all my bills. My mom and dad have helped out in the aspect of rent, but at the same time they bought the place as an investment property so its not like they're doing it out of charity.

Son of a bitch...I just realized that my dad never paid me back for $300 worth of Yankee tickets I bought last fall and I let him keep the $850 check from when that douche bag backed into my car because he needed it and I didn't. So I'm paying him while I'm in college h:

My grandmother left me close to $65K in stocks & bonds after she passed away. I wasn't suppose to receive it until I was 18, but my parents somehow remained Power of Attorney on the account longer. The only thing I got from that $65K was $3600 that went to pay for my MR2. I asked "Uh, where's the rest?" and they said "We used it to pay for your other cars!" Then I responded "But the total cost of my Celica and Integra were 9000"...they just shrugged and avoided the subject.
