Default Automatic toilet flushers

How do you prevent the automatic toilet flusher from sucking down the a$$ gasket before you sit on it?

(hehe, I got to use the word a$$ gasket... )

There is no way*. They detect motion via infrared.

It's not like that paper "sanitary cover" is going to have any beneficial effect.
I'd just do without.

* with the in-wall sensors

on the ones at work, they aren't built into the wall, they stick out from the side of the pipe going down and into the toilet, so I just drape a small (3-4 sheets) bit of TP over it, it won't go off untill I remove the TP, problem solved.

i have masterd the auto flush when taking a poop, first get your ass gasket ready unbuckle your pants and make it flush. once its almost done with the flush put the ass gasket down, pull you pants down and sit down.

Has there ever been a medical study to prove the effectiveness of those paper things? Personally, I think it's all psychological. :shrug:

Well, people who sit while the toilet is flushing have negated any protection the ass gasket serves.
