moto = domestic h:

It seems like you have only used moto, so you can't talk. By the looks of it the Nokia 6111 is a much better phone, without even using it I'd take it over the slvr (which I have used).

edit: samsung huh... I can't say much about them because I haven't personally used it. Which model did you have?

 

I havent had problems with my Razr :dunno: I like both Moto and Nokia

 

i have used nokias... my family uses both nokias and motos... nokias are reliable, but a lil plain... moto is just cool interms of shape and function

 

The razr is so freakin popular that i can't see how motorola can be doing that bad. I have the L6 (the slvr minus i-tunes) so i guess i don't give a crap about how slow i-tunes is. I love it so far. I'll let you guys know if it craps out on me, but it is basically the razr with a different shape so I imagine it will last me as long as one of those.

 

it's known fact that the motorola battery life sucks (except for the e815)
get a trans-flash card at fry's, if you don't already have one.....

SLVR blows. Three of friends had black RAZRs and switched to the SLVR because it was the "new" thing. They switched back to their RAZRs a week later.

 

Why?

I'm very interested to hear why people don't like them, but saying "it sucks" doesn't tell anyone anything. Why would people like the slvr less than the razr?

 

I'm guessing sluggish and old OS is a part of it :hsugh:

Over the course of owning cells, I've had 3 motorolas, 2 nokias, and a samsung.


Overall, I think the motorolas have held up the best on me, followed closely by the Nokias. The Samung I had crapped out numerous times on me before I finally gave up on i t.
