Hughes had the intention of keeping it on the feet, but things went to the mat and Hughes imposed his will on the UFC Pioneer Gracie. Gracie nearly had his arm broke in 2 from a straight arm bar, until Hughes let it go, then getting Gracie's back and delivering an aresenal of blows to the back of the head of Gracie until Big John called the fight. Go Matt!!! Did not last as long as I was hoping, but oh well...

I saw that fight... blew my mind. altho i gotta say, that knockout by Melvin was nuts. Right hook to the side of the head anyone?

Not a big surprise really... Gracie may have been Undefeated in the UFC but he got his ass kicked by fighters on the other end of the ocean in Pride Fights h: Matt Hughes is a well rounded fighter and is devasting when it comes to his attacks


And I agree with John for the sake of others because I know some peeps that get nutty when you spoil shit for them h: I'm not one of them though lol

 

I just watched it :rick:. I thought it could have been more exciting h: And I was rooting for Gracie :hs:

 

i watched it at my buddies house. felt sorry for gracie. btw the most entertaining fights were the lightweight ones.

 

btw i knew Matt Hughes was gonna win but i was hoping Gracie would come out on top :happysad:
