You are a moron, you are comparing a license plate ticket to a DUI?
I have had more than a few front plate tickets up here and for the record those hick cops will break you down for a DUI as fast or faster than your precious over worked Cali cops will.

oh i wasn't comparing a LP to a DUI.... just the fact that the cops will get you for anything they can (at least in my area)... i wished i lived closer to LA where they have more important things to worry about.

but i will take johns word for it... he has been just about everywhere... i was just kinda under the assumption that if they are hickish and lazy they wouldn't care as much... more of a community feel

 

Well most of the population lives in or arounf the Portland area followed by Bend and Eugene being the next populous centers. So yeah the cops here are just as hardass as anywhere else. If you lived out in eastern Oregon then maybe not so much...but there isn't much out there unless you are a rancher or self made money.

 

cops here are so dumb they pulled my friend over for going the speed limit in the left lane of a four lane, cause there was pot holes on the other side of the road. said he was impeeding the flow of traffic, but it was 2 am and the cop was the only other car there.

1 - In central & eastern Oregon, yes.

2- Portland is 1 hour from beaches, 1 hour from several forrests, 1 hour from the only year round skiing/snowboarding resort in the country.

3- I've received an "improper lighting" ticket as well as a front plate ticket.

 

You just bring the states IQ down by 5 all by yourself...not that it was that high to begin with
