i hate coming back and getting my paycheck...

i still have to go back and get like 50 bucks, lol. oh well, that will go towards powdercoating my valve cover

 

my boss took me out for lunch. one of the girls made cupcakes and somebody else (or maybe the company) bought 2 breakfast pizzas this morning. otherwise, i just got a card signed by everybody in the building.

People shouldn't feel bad about leaving a job for another. If they were doing right by you, you'd probably still be there.

 

Not always true. Sometimes you just outgrow your company and need to move on to further your career. Nothing a company can do about that.

i only feel a little bad toward the people i work with, they have all been good to me and ive made good friendships. but, the opportunity for growth here is limited and having a good comfortable environment only goes so far. if i could achieve financial comfort without leaving, i probably wouldnt go. but good friends are not liquid assets h:
