Skype is now giving away outgoing calls to regular phones, through the end of the year. I don't use a land line, but I figure since Skype's free for outgoing calls it saves me from charging my cell phone and saves some minutes. Not like I use a lot of em anyway, but I could use more of em if I wanted now. So, at the megalomart, I picked upa pair of headphones with a boom mic on em for 10 bucks. Skype works like it's supposed to and has the added benefit of showing up some wacky number with a bunch of zeroes at the beginning on the caller id. Yay?

 

You have to have broadband to use skype, right?

I use sype for business all the time, I have VoIP at the house, so I am sticking with it.
