Default DIY : Rotating your own tires

if i have 2 pairs of jackstands, would it be dangerous to rotate my tires on my own? i wouldnt think so just as long as im on level ground w/ the stands secured. it was just the idea of using a lot of elbow grease on loosening the wheels and possibly knocking the car off the stands that got me thinking twice :nervous:

This is why we loosen the lug nuts prior to lifting the car off the ground.

and if you did lift the car already as long as you aim the power in the right direction the car won't rock off.. you should be ok

ive changed plenty a tire. but it was always one at a time, not all four.




...but now that i think about it, i mustve been retarded to not have loosened the bolts prior to lifting it up :doh: yay for learning new stuff :hs:
