it starts next tuesday, i cant wait :yay: my favorite show

 

I forgot to watch it last season, so I'm in

 

2nd season > 1st season

find the DVD and watch it before 3rd season starts. you have a lot of catching up to do.

or check the tv guide maybe they will have a rescue me marathon this weekend so all you slackers can catch up on season 2

 

without spoiling anything, what is it about? Im afraid to look it up because I'll invariably find a episode guide/spoiler.. Is it like 24?

 

ive never watched 24 h:

its a show about NYC fire fighters but obviously there is more drama to it. Dennis Leary is this main character that is a battling alcoholic and his wife left him cuz he kinda skitzed after 9/11. so the first season is mostly him being a drunk and fighting with his wife, among many other layers of story line.

the 2nd season he was off the sauce but things were still pretty f'ed up. i wont get into everything that happened cuz if you watch it, im not gonna ruin it for ya. i could get you caught up if you really want but id say just rent the dvds and enjoy it that way. much better than a summary from my memory.

i guess maybe sort of. its been a long time since that show was even on, let alone when i watched it. the episodes are really sequential, its not like law and order or CSI where something happens and in the next episode, its forgotten. the primary focus is on the guys' lives and how they all have their own f'ed up little stories. really, its like a lot of different shows and different from everything all at the same time. just watch it rent season 1 you will be hooked enough to buy season 2
