sht yeah thats good. esp for a younger person. typically the biggest things against people our age are a lack of credit history and high unsecured debt ratios (thanks to student loans)

define "unsecured" please. I have 3 credit cards and I pay them all off on time every month early. I have about $18k in student loans that I'm deferring on but I'll probably start payment next year if my FAFSA scheme goes through and I owe nothing next year.

That's who I am using.

yeah I pulled 732 off that. Not bad for a 23 year old with multiple payments...

unsecured is any loan that isnt collateralized. for example, credit cards, student loans, personal loans. if you default, they cant take away your purchases or your degree.

a secured loan is your car loan, mortgage, etc. if you decide you dont much care to pay on ti anymore, they will repo/foreclose etc.

mine came back as a 745, but says i would benefit by having more accounts (history), and accounts that have been established for longer periods of time.

So how does forbearance on student loans as opposed to paying the monthly rate affect credit score?
