Random and uncalled for. Much like your mom's attempts at having sex with me.

they were at the forefront of everything that has become what rock is today?....

are you going to say the same thing about the beach boys?... cause they were direct competition for the beatles.

The only thing they were at the forefront of is boy bands. Atleast the beach boys requierd some lyrical talent not much but some.

I stand by my answer

i never asked you change your answer but do you realize the reason why the bands that sound NOTHING like the beatles started becoming popular because of people wanting the change. And in the very beginning (before they were even recording) they were more of a punk rock type of feel... it's insane to think that they went from punky/hard rock to a more mellow and calming style... but it just shows that they spanned the entire spectrum of what "rock" is considered. bands like rolling stones were based off of what the beatles started

The beatle have thier place in the evolution of music, I can't argue that. The same can be said about alot of groups and singers. But regardless of thier popularity or what they may have spawned they still sucked. They were pretty boys spouting crappy lyics to a half ass tune. They sold because that's what the masses at the time wanted. And the masses have poor taste. IMO "let it be" is their one decent song.

I don't want to argue about it so I'll just leave it at that.:hs:

oh no im not arguing i was trying to understand how you could think that way... but you've made your point clear and i totally agree. i thought you were denying that they hold a place in the history of evolution of music. to which i thought :bs: but it seems we're on the same page... for the most part
