Who cares if it's a race header? You'll get an extra 2-3HP from a 4-2-1 compared to a 4-1, but you'll have a lot more torque on the 4-1 Comptech design versus something comparable to DC. Torque on an RSX-S is good, top end is already fine.

Power curve > peak numbers

And that flange looks like it's made to hookup to the stock flex/cat.

You will gain power from not having a cat, I could just get a straight pipe for the comptech but then that would defeat the purpose and might as well get a race header.

The flange is made to hookup to the stock cat.

It connects to the flange on the top of this picture:

Modern cats are pretty efficient, a performance cat is even a better choice. Running catless is just retarded IMO.

I think getting an aftermarket cat for an RSX is going to take a lot of custom work to make it like the stock cat.
