I actually haven't had too much bad luck. Just the cam pos sensor and thermostat, but I've done all the work myself.

Fluids
brakes
thermostat
cam pos sensor

Its actually a pretty easy car to work on.
I'll keep mines for a while.

Actually you can get a 2006 Acura RSX for exactly 20K. That's how much my girl got her new RSX for. But she is a girl, so she didn't get the Type-S. I tried convincing her so badly, but it didn't work. DAMN. Anyways, she got it for 20K. She put like $6k for a down payment.

used TL is a good buy. mine was ~$14, 2001 bought in 2006 with 52k miles
