Yes.

People can break you down, then rebuild you in their image with their beliefs at your lowest point. I've seen some pretty damn un-natural thinking in my days. I've seen no brainer decisions become complicated due to this.

 

Believe in it? Absolutly. It's also being used everyday by big companies and stuff, either by telling your or not telling you something about a product. Guiding you down a path that will make them money.

When people go though difficult hardships together, their feelings tend to fuse and become similar.

This is how sororities work. The OG's mentally and verbally abuse the recruits. When the recruits feel like they're in hell, at their lowest point, the OG's come in to make them feel better. The constant breakdown and build up remolds their thinking and attitudes. This is a mild form of brainwashing based off what the millitary does.

Those of weaker minds get totally brainwashed. I KNEW it was a game when I went in... and I was physically and mentally prepared. I still had to take a couple of days to "decompress" after I got out. I was like a robot doing repetative tasks for so long, thats all I honetly remembered, and couldnt act properly around people. I just didnt know what to do... But I knew I was acting weird, so they didnt really brainwash me. Like I said I just had to decompress...
