fed'ed for multi's i changed ip's every 5 minutes but i accidentally created a few on the same ip and got them locked, my original is still around thank god, but the other like 13 accounts i had are fed'ed now, i can still create more but they will get fed'ed within 24 hours time

Sounds like what I did. I tried to make a couple on the same ip but it said No Multis!!!

 

my original is still safe, i created a fake account off another ip using JAP then i went from that ip to another and created like 4 more and so on

EDIT: it didnt give me that message, it did at first but after like the tenth account i made it didnt say it no more, i'd get that stupid, no multi bad dog message too lol

EDIT 2: instead of referring myself like most people would do i just registered and voted and sent myself the gold bars, referrals are a quick way to get caught IMO

 

Firefox. Two Metrowars browser tabs. One set to refresh your stats page every 8. something min. The other one set to refresh the training page every 37 or so odd min.

Seems to work fine.

The valid arguement is that there is no rule covering this. There are rules about mulitple users on a single IP, but no rules covering this.

Until they implement that validation system or expressly forbid it in the rules, I'm going for it. If they fed me for a non existant rule, then I'll argue it.

SOMEONE has to be using a bot out there. Put 1 GB on the market. Within 1 second it's bought. Usually it's the same two usernames doing it. RESVDR and someone else. So if they're not doing anything about gold-bot useage, then I'm in the clear.

But I like the loopholes.

Gotta remember. It's just a game. So what? Fed me, ban me. Why ban someone who will pay $3/month to have wire transfer and lists? You'd be banning income at that point.

 

They are implementing time limits on the gold market, user list and the metro market as well to prevent the instant buying of gold and making it more fair for the people who wish to buy it.

Just like the annoying 5 minute and 3 minute setup for the market and user list right now, its to implement new ways of preventing bots and snipers of picking the lists of quickly.

They implemented this annoyance, but still didn't ammend the rules to expressly forbid bots.

They do have a common sense clause, but who's to say my common sense is the same as theirs. Common sense clauses are too objective to be enforced.

Like I said before, it's just a game. I can't get worked up about it. It's something to do when I have bouts of insomnia (like tonight). I got too much to deal with in the real world. One day I will tire of the game and stop playing (most likely when Halo 3 comes out).

My whole reason for using the Firefox auto refresh is so that I can build some stats while I'm sleeping or out and about in the real world.

It's not like I'm going to run it 24/7 or during the times when the MW server is really busy.

thanks to this macro thing, i can continue my other game... well not really a game but a cool little feature on another forum i frequent where you can attack other users on the forum and kill them and knock them out for 3 hours max... would be kinda cool to have here, knock out some of those post whores when they decide to blow up threads :rick:
