These are basically broadband cards for your laptop. They work great if you're away from an open wireless connection and are traveling. EVDO Phones can be nice if you have a Pocket PC or something with a full QWERTY keyboard but garbage on anything else.

 

no, evdo is wireless broadband internet service. bluetooth is bluetooth, no matter what device it's on. i believe EVDO for GSM is called edge data. the speeds for verizon's EVDO card is 715kbps.

 

i work for VZW and dont even have EVDO

 

yes I do have EVDO and yes I have used the shit out of it

 

i didn't until last week. upgraded my 7000 to the 8100
