"We decided to give it a try using one car, equipped with five different cameras. A sixth camera hovered above in Sky 11 as we drove the speed limit on metro roads."

Interesting video to watch.

That's why I threw in "I think." It allowed for some margin of error.

The established speed limits in this country are too conservative. Anyone who has been to Europe, not just Germany but many other European countries have high speed limits, or has seen any documentary on the legendary Autobahn knows freeways with higher limits or no limits at all are in fact as safe or safer than any U.S. highway.

Not to mention, any car made today can easily do 100 mph. Even a Kia can. Although that insipid 55 national limit was rolled back, most states use 60 which is still too slow to keep trafic moving safely. Michigan uses 75, and I think that is a more realistic speed for safe, smooth trafic flow. There is a big difference in driving in Michigan and driving in Ohio. You certainly feel more relaxed when everyone around you moves at the same pace in a safe manner.

An old lady pulls out in front of me and I total my Integra. That's what happened to me one of the only times I was driving the speed limit.

A valid point in today's world of $3.00/gal for gas. But you will use more fuel speeding up and slowing down in a highway full of traffic thats all going different speeds than you will with the cruise on at a higher speed.
