Hm. Condi in office. I don't think I know enough about her to vote for or against her...but I guess that's what a campaign is for.

For those of you who would favor Condi Rice over Hillary, read and watch her responses to the 9-11 commission. IMO, her responses showed hostility and a reticence to take responsibility.

Personally, I don't think either Hillary or Condi or Jeb are ideal candidates for the Presidency at this point.

We need a rational approach to foreign policy and military strategy at this point... and I don't trust any one of them with our national security.

IMO, Hillary would favor diplomacy over military action, leaving the nation more vulnerable.

Rice is too close the to G.W. Bush school of gunslinger "diplomacy" to earn my trust. I see her as just another "yes-man" to the Bush administration.

And I don't know enough about Jeb to predict how he'd handle the responsibily of leading the nation; given the path blazed by G.W., I am highly skeptical of his abilities.

---

Frankly, I'd favor a John McCain/ Wesley Clark ticket based on experience and records alone; in essence, they're two moderates with military experience and a rational approach to foreign policy.

IMO, the nation needs to find it's political middle-ground again. I'm tired of watching both parties pander to their extreme bases. The ultra-liberals and hardline conservatives have had eight years to bash each other, creating a divided consituency that needs mending. I don't think a Clinton or Bush administration will be able to facilitate the healing process.

I'm a democrat and there's no way I'd vote for Hilary. Most of my dem friends are looking at McCain as a great choice, regardless whether he's a republican or not.
