so im in a dileama.
im considering moving out of my house to live on campus. ive lived with my parents for 22 years and i feel that its important to atleast establish a self of independence at a young age, and to do stupid shit. i feel like im not "getting it" when i live at home. All it is is just going to work, then school, then coming home and dealing w/ stupid family issues that i dont want to deal with. everything is at my fingertips at home and thats another thing i want to deal with. i seriously cant take this shit anymore at home, its getting to be too much and i feel that its affecting my school shit.
here is the thing, my school, my office, and my house are all in a 10 mile radius. i just wanted to here some input of what you guys all think.

i just moved out last semester when i came to school. im 21. i never really had a problem living at home, but its something different that i wanted to try, i felt like i was missing out on what most of my friends were doing while they were at school.
after the first year of living on campus i havent really met too many people, and living in dorms isnt the best thing in the world. i wish i was put into a freshman dorm or all transfer dorm so i could have met more people more easily, but oh well, i guess i dont really care.
i say do it, jsut for the hell of it. you are super close to your house, so if you ever want to / need to go home, you can. i live 20 minutes from where my parents live, so i go home all the time.
next year im living in an apartment with a friend and i cant wait, i think that will be a lot better than living in the dorms.

You moving on your own is a right of passage. The circumstances of you moving out will be different from everyone elses, but it seems like you just wanna have piece of mind. 22 is a healthy age to finally bounce. Try not to RUN like hell, but make a calm decision about it. I just hope that no one tries to make you feel guilty about it, and tries to get you to stay.
