Hi. This is for a class assignment. I need to make a recording of my voice. I have a mic, but it seems to be broken. So I will be using my SD400 digicam to do the recording. However, since it will also be capturing video, the file will be pretty big. I was wonder if there is a way to rip the audio from a video clip. I think they are AVI files :hs:

you can load the avi into VirtualDub... and rip the audio from the file using that.

I think Microsofts Movie Maker that comes with XP can do that, I only messed around with it a few times... but if you have that I'd start there.
