Default Air Filter Trivia

Okay, I need to get a custom 3" cone type Air Filter for my G.

So far, I've been recommended AMSoil Nanofiber Filter.

http://www.amsoil.com/StoreFront/eaa.aspx

People said it bests out top of the line K&N.

Any other suggestions & feedback on your previous purchases??

From what I've read, the gauze-oil type filters (ie K&N) will allow in more dirt than a conventional paper filter, for only slightly higher flowrates. The nanofiber type filters are supposed to be the compromise between the two.

I have an AEM, does the filter really make that big of a difference? I really doubt that.
