Searching for a 2006 Civic Si w/ Nav
and actually finding one is about the same probability as Jae turning white and moving to WV h:
I have been looking for one for a while, and nothing. I have to order one from the factory, and it will get here when you ask? August....
You would think that they would make more of them

Well if I have to wait till August I will just put a deposit down on a sedan now instead of the coupe, that is just ridiculous, there isnt a Ralleye Red Si with Nav on the east coast, and the earliest they can get one is August, that seems absurd.

it's called supply and demand. keep supply low to raise demand, and also the out-the-door price. also raises the exclusivity of the car. otherwise it'll just become as common and meh as the WRX.

Honda isn't going to flood the market with SI's ... since they're on a "pre-order" basis:
Honda can charge MSRP
it makes the car look more desirable
Also, from a production standpoint, the entire plant might not be laid out quite right yet. They could be shifting around lines to make things more efficient. Since it's a brand new car, tweaking the operations for efficiency is being done now ... which has to be slowing production.

I dont mean flood the market, but if there isnt one in over 500 dealerships, that seems a little extreme to me.
I understand the whole concept, and anything above what the dealer pays to honda is pure profit to the dealer not Honda, so the markup profits the dealer, not Honda Motor Company.

I want to, seeing that my family has supported them very well in the last 10 years.
