The new Si is the exact same engine, transmission (with the addition of LSD), suspension, brakes, and a bunch of other stuff, as the RSX-S. Ok so it don't have leather seats or an 'A' badge on it, but it's the same car, with an LSD which the RSX-S doesn't have, for less money. No point in Acura keeping the RSX around when they're trying to move their image more upscale to keep in line with Lexus and Infiniti.
