Some other folks here are missing another point which is that this protest isn't just about illegal immigrants but immigrants in general, the legal ones too. Not saying I'm one way or the other on the issue, but it's not like everyone who's going out there is saying make illegal immigrants legal. And yet somehow, right-leaning folk everywhere have managed to convince themselves that's what it's about.
