Default How to take scratches out of plastic(interior panels)?

I took the whole ass end interior and panels out of my hatch yesterday so I could pop a few dents out. At first I was just going to leave it completely gutted because in the end it's going to pretty much be a drag car. Then I found out how noisy it is and I'm not really diggin' it. But since I have all the panels out, is there a way to get blemishes and scratches out of the plastic? The plastic has a texture to it so I didn't just want to go and tackle it with sandpaper until I knew what to do.

Sonovabitch. Really? I'd rather just leave it all out than have to buy new ones.

Although now the hatch's ass end sits about 1/2 higher. Looks really weird. The front is 1.8" lowered and the rear looks almost stock height.

Just find a junkyard. I mean, if you were REALLY dedicated you could fiberglass over the scratches, then sand, then paint them. h:

Head gun with a wet towel. Just heat the area up a bit, then rub the wet towel on there. Don't heat it up too long cuz you will damage it. You will loose some of the texture there and more will go away if you heat it up for too long, but it does a nice job of covering up shallow scratches.

I say gut it and get this stuff...
eDead v.3
It will be alot lighter then your interior, look pretty nice(Its paintable) and will kill the road noise. Pretty cheap too.

Is that what they use when they paint the inside of a gutted car? Or do they actually go in there with sanders and primer? I might do that and get a second piece of carpet for the rear. It's kind of expensive but it covers up all the body support and wheel wells.
