There is no 3rd party support for Nintendo because 3rd party vendors can't compete with 1st party titles. Nobody buys a GameCube for Sonic, they buy it for Mario. Nobody buys a GameCube for Final Fantasy, they buy it for Zelda.
Nintendo is very good at making games ... because of that, their systems are nothing more than 1st party adapters. It's unprofitable for software developers to waste time porting a game that won't be purchased.
