h: I test drove an 02 C230 Hatchback 5-speed awhile ago for a $50 B&N gift certificate. The engine sounded terrible, it was ugly, and it had just about no interior features (no CD player!) for like $27k. No thanks. It handled alright but nowhere near an RSX-S or a WRX. Maybe I just dont like MB :dunno:

my fiancee also got hers loaded for several thousand cheaper than MSRP; loaded, but yeah, no CD. wth? that was easily remedied. i got a factory 6-disc changer for something like $200.

I just don't understand the point of the C230 unless you're obsessed with the badge :dunno: I guess that's why they don't sell that well.
