You'd be wrong h:

I test drove an 02 C230 Hatchback 5-speed awhile ago for a $50 B&N gift certificate. The engine sounded terrible, it was ugly, and it had just about no interior features (no CD player!) for like $27k. No thanks. It handled alright but nowhere near an RSX-S or a WRX. Maybe I just dont like MB :dunno:

which is why they ditched the 2.3L in the 2002 for the 1.8L in 2003. much smoother, much nicer sounding.

my fiancee also got hers loaded for several thousand cheaper than MSRP; loaded, but yeah, no CD. wth? that was easily remedied. i got a factory 6-disc changer for something like $200.

Yeah I've read the 1.8 is much better. Man that 2.3 was terrible.

I just don't understand the point of the C230 unless you're obsessed with the badge :dunno: I guess that's why they don't sell that well.

The one I drove would easily be raped by my GSR & MR2.

So it was an LS.

Once I get done with my K24 swap, my Civic will be a TSX.
