Default New Import Company Starting...

Me And A Partner Are Planning To Start Up A Little Speed Shop In Gilroy Calif Since There Really Isnt Any Shops Local.
I Was Just Curious As Far What Company Do Many Racers Like The Best These Days.
Im Planning On Starting Out With Skunk2 But There Buy In Is Very High.
Is It A Good Choice To Go With Or Is There Other Companies That People Like Better...
Any Info Will Help...

skunk2, aem, rota (as much as they get flamed) DC, Brembo, Apexi, Greddy. Depends also if the people in your area want to spend money. Most people are buying cheap stuff now adays.

Injen, AEM, Rota, Tein, 5zigen, DC Sports, Tanabe, Greddy, K&N.
If you think you'll have customers that will buy the cheap stuff, then try APC.

try to go for smaller companies as well. Their buy in is low or you can get away with buy as you go.

if you want a buisness hint i got a good one. when you first start out in any retail buisness get your name out there as much as possible. make stickers, sponsor people, make flyers and take them to races... ANYTHING! i know a kid who took 50k of his fathers money and started a buisness. just cause his idea was a good one, dosn't mean you are immune to running the thing into the ground faster than you can blink. building a buisness is exactly what it says "build" small at first but gets bigger and bigger with time/planning/advertising/and elbow grease. this is all more important that what brands you should carry but yes those play a large roll too. once you put yourself out there you will know exactly who your target customer is and exactly what they would order/purchase.
