USED CARS are not an option/consideration/relevant to this thread. i am NOT ever buying a used car, even if its CPO'd, for my PRIMARY vehicle. i dont care if it was for my project car or whatever.... but not my everyday car (unless its a beater...but then its a beater so who gives a fuck if its new or used).

so no more "how bout a used e46m.. or used e36m...or used e39m... or whatever funk is out there thats a "better value" for the dollar."

thank you
I never mentioned anything about buying a used car :dunno:

I was merely stating the fact that the new BMW line-up is about as attractive as Kelly Osbourne naked in a tub of green jell-o.

i have way too many expenses (well, given that most of them i "can" cut down, but choose not to), to afford a $50k car right now or next year. basically, i want a e92... ive never owned a coupe... and my a4 is seriously unacceptably too slow. i dont need a "fast" car per say, but i want at least something that has decent speed while still being somewhat comfy and "luxurious" (relatively speaking). i want something new. id get a benz coupe, but i dont want a CLK or SLK.. and theres no way i can afford an SL or CL

the payment difference between a $40k and a $50k car isnt gonna be "huge," but i have a budget plan already mapped out. and therefore i want to stick to it as closely as possible. my priorities may be different from a lot of other people, but that doesnt really matter... thats why theyre MY priorities and not someone else's. sure, nobody needs expensive clothing and $300 clubbing/drinking weekends every week, but i want it so i do it. therefore, i have to work around with what i want and what i have.

i was laughing at your choice of words ("wiser financial decision for me"), not at the difference between a $40k and a $50k car. no diss intended, but financially wise and eddie just dont sound right together :loco:
