I'm a bit confused about the timeline of events. 4 suspects were arrested on Thursday at their homes, and one was arrested at school. Were the 4 who were arrested at home arrested early in the am? Or after school?

Reading the article it kind of sounds like they didn't get the kids until most of the way through Thursday, which was their day to do the attack. Were they actually going to go through with it?

Sometimes the media greatly exaggerates. I once found out how to make black powder at home when I was 14 online and I was going to build a pipe bomb to go blow some stuff up in this field. Well, a buddy of mine wanted in on how to do it so I gave him the list of ingredients and the dumbshit goes home and starts making it in his garage for the world to see. Well his mom finds out and starts asking him how the hell he got the idea. So his little sister (Who had something against me for some reason) starts saying all this garbage like "Oh yeah, Pete told him how to do that, he is going to bring it into school and plant it in the bathroom blah blah blah." So naturally his mom calls the cops on me and next thing I know, the cops are at my place asking my dad to sign this form so they can search the house. All they found was some powder, a plastic tube and a few bb guns under my bed. Since they found no bomb, no evidence that I was trying to hurt anyone and I had no criminial history, they arrest me for having bb guns while under the age of 16 and they seized my computer hard drive for "psycological evaluation" lol. It was quite a good laugh. Anyway the point is, if I had finished the bomb, things probably would have gotten blown way out of proportion (no pun intended). I mean, what normal 14 year old boy doesn't want to see random things blow up?

:werd: I lost track of how many 2-liter-bottles filled with drano & aluminum foil I built, and then shot with a pellet gun to see what would happen. Or trying to make your own gunpowder. Or daisy-chaining large quantities of fireworks together. I would say that any guy under the age of 16 who has never played with explosives is probably missing out on a big part of being a kid.
