.....said or read a word so many times in a row (as if you were studying and kept re-reading a word) and repeated it so many times, that the word became unfamiliar?

Like last night, I was reading my notes over and over. It got to the point where "with" looked and felt like a foreign word. Am I explaining this right? Does anyone know what Im talking about? It also happened with the word "gun" awhile back.

Or you write a word down, and you can't figure out if that's really a word or if it has anything to do with what you think it meansl.
then you look it up,......and it does.
