What is this?
Is this memory eraser true? I thought if you just reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery its the same thing.

That allows you to check for codes and set things like the timing. It basically tricks the ECU into not working when it is.

Diagram is from a 92-95 Honda Prelude Service Connector...its in my Haynes Manual and it was also posted as a thread a couple days ago for online auto repair or something.
