when do you need to get a salvage title?

Examples of circuits where the Fusible Link wire will be the most reliable short-circuit protection are; *the main power wire to the dash area, *the alternator-to-battery “charging wire,” *power-up wire to electric radiator fans, and other systems where the amount of current flow is a large amount for long periods of time.
NOTES about Fusible Links Only a serious short will cause a Fusible Link to burn–it disconnects a circuit from power just before the rest of the wiring in a circuit would be damaged. Momentary overloads will not burn out a Fusible Link–such as arcing a wrench between ground and an exposed terminal.

I cut the air bags out. The steering wheel is ripped open from where it deployed, as is the cover panel on the driver's side dash. I just tucked the plastic back in where I could so it isn't too obvious since I live in an apartment and I don't feel like getting my car towed.
h:EDIT: I just updated the pics in the classified thread.

The car would be running right now if I could actually do maintenance/repairs to it. But the management where I live likes to regulate that stuff. I don't feel like having to explain the situation to the neighborhood on-patrol officer. So my hands are pretty much tied when it comes to checking it out too much.
