I'd still do an NA cam over a Y8 cam. There's a myth about limiting overlap with boost so the turbo has time to build boost and it's not expelled quickly. That can be dialed out with adjustable cam gears, and if done right, an NA cam on a turbo engine can make HUUUUUUGE power.

Aren't stock GS-R's like 15 second cars? h:

SOHC is wack.

Keep the B20.

There's only "so much" you can dial out on an NA cam. You want to keep the duration conservative and go big on the lift.

Guess it depends on how aggressive the cam is. I've seen some pretty crazy results, although I wouldn't go and and throw in a 320 degree cam.

If I were to do a turbo, I guess it would behoove me to keep my old d16z6 and build that while I drive the car with the d15b vtec, huh?
