Default Nitto NT-01

Anybody heard anything about this tire? It looks pretty meaty. I came across it while browsing on discounttire.com. Can be shaved below the tread depth so it's a full slick.

Oh I know, it's just a new tire...looks nothing like their old DOT race tires. Just wanted to know how they compare to other similar tires on the market.

Looks a lot like Michelin's new track tire.

Ever since I tossed the NT-450's, I've never looked at Nitto for tires ever.

I remember when I mistakening bought Konig Monsoons for the Teg and wrapped them with Toyo Proxes....Good God in heaven! Wet weather was like a theme park ride.

I had a pair of the 555R drag radial...and they were decent. But their normal street tires suck.

In all the years, I've never heard anything good about Nitto tires. So I've steered clear.
