Ok i tried posting this in the integra forum but got no responses, thought id see if you guys had any input on it, Mods- sorry if this is wrong, delete it if so, thanks.

Alright i have a 1992 4 dr teg (yea.....4 drs suck) Anyways, it vibrates pretty bad when you get on the brakes. Now it was doing this a while back, my wife was driving it and the front driver side tire locked completely up going down the road (she wasnt on the brakes when it happened). Well i bled the breaks all was good. Well i went to change the brake pads and when i tried to take the wheel off, the lugs were seized up i guess because it got so hot. Well i broke 2 trying to get them off. So i went to take the whole hub off to take it to someone to get the lug studs put back in. Well my wifes uncle decided to work on it one day while i was gone. Most older cars you can pop the lug studs in without much problem and he thought the teg was the same way. But you have to put it on a press and all that shit......... So i come home to him beating the hell out of the wheel assembly tryin to get it to seperate so he could get the stud in. I then let him know you have to take it to someone to get it put on a machine. Anyways i took it to someone they put the studs in, repacked the wheel bearing and said everything was ok. So i figured nothing was harmed. So i put it back on and it still vibrated. So i got a new rotor. Still vibrated. So i got a new capiler, STILL vibrated. Then one day it just sorta stopped on its own. Well it has come back, it vibrates bad enough it makes my CD player in the car skip slowing from 55-0 or so. I'm out of ideas, can anyone help me out?

CLIFFS: Car vibrates when using brakes, i've replaced rotor, pads, caliper...etc. Wifes redneck uncle beat hell out of wheel assembly, shop said it was ok. Anything else i can try?

 

How was the CV-joint lookin? I know mine is shot and my steering wheel shakes

 

Wheels balanced and aligned?

 

Had that checked out at the shop too. I took it in to get an the axle replaced and they said it all looked good. :dunno:

I had new tires put on it about 2 months ago, they should be good to go. I had a front end alignment done too cause thats when i had to take the wheel assembly off of it.

 

Shocks/Struts?

 

hmmm well a shop told me that i needed those. But when you push down on them they come back up and stop, no bouncing. So i had someone else check them out for me and they told me they were fine that the other place was just tryin to get some $$ out of me...

I've tried everything i can think of and i am running out of shit to check on.

The one weird thing is that it still makes the sound like the brakes are going bad (grind/scrapping) but the pads are fine and i cant find anything else wrong, im ready to pull my hair out!
