Default How bout it?? Add another subforum to HAN?

i love HAN.. it's great coming here, learning and sharing new ideas on the simple topics we love.. Cars!

straight out of college, i've been grinding it out at my job for 6 yrs + now.. and lately it's been a grind that's really wearing me down. i started thinking.. wishful thinking that is, that is there such a job where i would wake up early in the morning and be excited about going to work? now.. being a porn star maybe all fun and bang.. but i'm sure they get sick of it after a while later.

when i thought about it.. i remember the time when i first got my very own civic and the excitement i had waiting for ups to arrive with my exhaust, intake, suspensions, etc. then i would wake up 7am on saturday due to over joy just to go into the garage to get all dirty to install the parts. then after all the wrenching is done.. to feel the pride and joy of test driving it.. hearing my baby purrrr and feeling that sense of accomplishment.

now.. i'm just a corporate slave working in a high tech chinese sweatshop getting brokeback mountain every damn day, every damn night with all those meetings, all done with any lube! fawk! my arse hurts... leave it alone, will ya?

so what got me thinking was.. since we have so many people here on HAN.. and i'm pretty sure some of us are working in different industries and from different walks of life, why not have an employment forum for people to be listing jobs openings at the company they are working at. Or maybe some insights on sharing about their work environment or how to get into certain industries through networking or refereals.

i know what you're thinking.. why would we recommend or vouch for these people that spends their working hours on HAN? well, why not? perhaps its because some are so sick and tired of their job, but because of their mortgage, bills, or what have you that's keeping them there.. and HAN is their light of passage, a whoooosssaaahh for them to escape to. At least that's the case for me

so how bout it? what do you all think? good idea? or bad?

it's a nice Idea, a business forum. But we already have an On Topic for that, which should cover it as well.

craigslist.com - too much trolls there selling some lamo stuff.. but have found some that's interesting though... just doesn't give me the excitement.

monster.com - on there.. and even careerbuilder.com too.. both aren't very helpful unless if you are an engineer or doing something specific. i do sales and marketing.. and believe me.. there are tons of jobs out there.. but nothing really gives you that sense of accomplishment. bottom line is.. being a sales.. u r just a "number" to the company's revenue at the end of the month. they don't care about how much you have bend over backwards for your customer to bring the revenue in.. they just care about lining their own pockets.

ebay.com - thought about that.. even though about some of those ebay in a can or ebay toolbox stuff.. but besides that.. u got any other ideas? plus ebays fees are a grip!
