the caltrain is capable of going 70-80 too but they have speed limits...i think it is set around 55.

someone jumped in front of the train today and he splattered all over the bystanders on the platform

You think these other high-speed trains don't have stops too? In the time that the Acela can get you from DC to NYC, you would only be able to drive from DC to Philly.
