Default I spent money

h:

Bought $650 worth of heim joints today. Should be here in a week or so. Happy Bday to me I did save money buying them where I did but this is an expensive gift to myself this year.

At least it will all be worth it shortly

What makes them so expensive? Heim joints don't inspire much confidence in me for offroad use. I keep thinking they'd jam up with grit and dirt. h:

Far from it. Heims are the standard since most rigs have linked suspension. One guy I know has been running the same joints for over 4 years now and they are still in good shape and he abuses the hell out of his junk.

basically it is a necessary item if you want a decent suspension so it kind of drives cost up.

Meh a 12 pack is about an hours worth of work once I get everyone over here and working with me to put this together. I am going to pay by the keg, it will be cheaper that way.

I know. It's just me being paranoid. :happysad: I helped a buddy raise his Jeep last year. Heim joints galore.

Oh yeah, pics por favor.

Ehh...I don't have them right now and my buggy is still in parts all over the garage so nothing to see currently.

I can show you what it looked like under the previous owners hand though.

This is James down in Moab (Helldorado I am pretty sure)
