I need help writing an "answer" to summons. Their is a specific legal way to do this. I'm wondering if anyone on here has ever had to do this.

Its a civil case exceeding 10k but under 25k. State of California by the way.

my ex gf thinks i owe her $24,509. She is taking me to court nearly 4 years after we broke up. This is just random $ she spent on US. like vacations, rent, food, etc. lol, its pretty pathetic. there two things that she listed where I was the only one to benefit. (tuition and a credit card for $800) and I already paid her back for it.

she has an intemized draft she created of the dates and amounts she spent on me. I have copies of my bank statements showing all activity. no signs of her giving me money that i spent on myself.

 

unless it somehow says that you were the one spending i dont see how she can prove that? I have a shitload of bank statements... for all they know her mom could have spent all that money...

I just dont get it... people will try anything to get some free cash
