These two chicken joints are obviously rather similar, and I like both of em, but I'm trying to figure out if I have a preference for one over the other.

KFC has regular or extra-crispy, Popeye's has just crispy but it's flakier than KFC extra-crispy because there's corn flakes in the breading. Popeye's has mild or spicy chicken, KFC just has hot sauce. KFC biscuits are fluffy and airy but pretty dry, Popeye's biscuits are not so fluffy but nice and buttery. Popeye's has quasi-cajun sides, KFC has regular ole American type sides.

So...which do you guys like better?

 

never had popeye's so i have to go with kfc. i love the biscuits and the wedges:drool:

I've never had popeye's even tho I pass one every day...I'm not really into fast food but I've been meaning to give it a try...maybe I should drive over and check one out....any suggestions on what to get if I go?

 

I suggest you get fried chicken.

I like KFC simply because the the one closest, and only one near me is a KFC/Taco Bell in one. You can order chicken strips and tacos in 1 meal. I love it.
